Plan of auditing and guiding of potential polluted soil evaluation, investigation and testing

The purpose of this project was to assist local environmental protection bureaus on reviewing and auditing Soil Pollution Assessment Investigation and Test Data, which were mandated by Artcle 8 and 9 of the Soil and Groundwater Pollution Remediation Act. We reviewed and audited 401 application files, an average of 3.2 days were needed to review one file. 68.8％ of them were finalized. We also helped 307 finalized Data entry. In order to find out how the soil sampling performed, we paid 86 times on-site visit to enterprises when they were performing soil sampling for the purpose of Articles 8 and 9 of the Soil and Groundwater Pollution Remediation Act according to their filing schedules. We found that 62％ of the sites were not complying with on-site audit principles, it was higher compared to that 54％ of last year. It was because that one new on-site audit principle was added, evaluating the performance of the Soil Pollution Assessment Investigation Personnel. This project were in charge of assisting the review and auditing the Data for 11 administrative regions, including Keelung City, Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu County and Yilan County, Lienchiang County, Hsinchu City, Miaoli County, Taichung City, Kinmen County.
